Income-Based Affordable Apartments in Hendersonville, TN

Our community participates in an Affordable Housing Program under a Land Use Restrictive Agreement (LURA) monitored by Affordable Housing Group (AHG) to help make quality housing attainable for households of varying incomes. A limited number of apartment homes are available at reduced rents and are subject to income and eligibility requirements established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as administered by AHG. Qualified applicants who meet the household income limits and program criteria may apply for these homes and enjoy the same community features and amenities offered to all residents. Please review the current income limits and program guidelines below (based on HUDs most recent published standards) and use the contact form on this page to request more information or begin the application process.

Income & Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for an affordable apartment home, total household gross annual income must be above the minimum or at the maximum income limit as shown in below chart, based on household size, and as defined by the AHG. These limits are updated annually by HUD and may change without notice. Verification of income (either two (2) most recent months of paystubs for every employer or Social Security letter, Pension letter, unemployment checks, child support, etc.), assets, and household composition is required during the application process and annually thereafter. Once you are determined to be a qualified household for this program, you will then fill out an AHG application, Affordable Housing Lease Addendum, Tenant Release & Consent Form, and review/sign/date a Tenant Income Certification form (filled out by Property Manager or Leasing Agent).
